Corinne and Daron’s wedding was simply lovely and we were honoured to be the photographers at their chilled out Northern Beaches wedding! The ceremony was held up on the headland overlooking the ocean and Shelly Beach below, and the reception was at the Boathouse on Shelly beach - everything in one beautiful (and convenient) spot!
The day started with a bit of uncertainty about the weather. The forecast was for 20mm of rain and gale force winds! Eeek! But Corinne and Daron held their ground and willed the rain away, and it was dry the entire day. The ceremony was beautiful and sweet with lots of tears, and was officiated by the couple’s good friend Lauren Meakin.
We headed over to Little Manly Beach for some photographs with the bridal party after the ceremony. It’s such a great spot for wedding photography, with a calm beach, views of the harbour and a bushy park nearby.
The reception at the Boathouse was fun and laid back, topped off with the Boathouse’s amazing signature fish and chips, a lovely cake made by the Father of the Bride, and the fantastic White Tree Band. Everyone was on the dance floor by the end of the night!
The best part of this day was of course Corinne and Daron. Genuine, warm and funny, these two are perfectly suited to each other. Corinne was the last of her 3 sisters to get married, and we’ve photographed all three. We feel so lucky to have been there and captured all of these memories for this special family.
