Brenda and Daniel deserved the wedding celebration of a lifetime. They're two of the most generous people you are ever likely to meet, and their friends and family are testament to this. I was fortunate enough to meet them before they were engaged for a couple session in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney, and then again for some engagement photographs at Turimetta Beach.
We started off the day with Brenda getting ready at her mum's house. A surprise letter from Daniel, dad's first look of Brenda in her Grace Loves Lace gown, and all the finely tuned wedding preparations saw us ready for their beautiful ceremony at the Multicultural Bible Ministry. It was a ceremony full of laughter and happiness - and perhaps a few anxious nerves - but mostly big smiles, hugs, and pure celebration.
After stopping at Robertson Park in Watsons Bay for some bridal party photos, and then exploring Camp Cove for the bride and groom portraits, it was time to get the party started with the reception at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel. The speeches were touching, fun, and genuine - a perfect entree to one of the most heartfelt father-daughter dances you are ever likely to see.
The day was very emotional for everyone. Brenda's dad was very unwell, and sadly he passed away only a month after the wedding. The moments when he walked his daughter down the aisle and had a dance with her were incredibly special. I felt so privileged to take part in capturing these memories for Brenda, Daniel and their families. Their wedding was truly a celebration of love, life and family.
