We've said it before, there's just something about a country wedding (especially a Hunter Valley wedding) that brings out the good times! Kat and Josh's spring wedding was truly wonderful - a fantastic blue sky day, amazing ceremony and reception venue, their cute Yellow Labrador Luna acting as their ring-bearer, and a very easy couple who were quick to laugh and enjoy the day.
The day started at Bluebush Estate in Lovedale, where the couple and their bridal party got ready in separate houses. Having bride and groom prep in the same location is such a great idea; for photography purposes it saves time on travel between locations, meaning more photos for you! The bride and bridesmaids were driven to the ceremony in a cool Kombi Van.
Both the wedding ceremony and reception were held at a beautiful Hunter Valley wedding venue, Wandin Valley Estate in Lovedale. The ceremony was held outside underneath tall trees, overlooking the grounds and the reception venue, The Cricketers Pavilion. There was lots of emotion from the bridesmaids and bride (and lots of the guests too) during the ceremony.
Just like Kat and Josh, the reception was super fun, with lawn games and cricket, funny speeches, a photo booth, and some pretty wild dancing! Apparently there were some pretty sore heads the next day ;) It was such a fantastic day and we felt honoured to be there.
