Weddings in the countryside are one of our favourite things to photograph. The clean air, beautiful surroundings and easygoing nature of the day are a perfect way to achieve stunning images. However we also love interesting venues with rustic touches and creative styling. That’s where Redwood Park in Wollombi comes in as a perfect wedding venue!

This 100 acre property in the lower Hunter Region of NSW is stacked with amazing photo opportunities and wedding ceremony locations - there is a pretty lake, huge paperbark trees, vast manicured grounds, a pavilion, and of course the newly build Woodhouse, an elegant, rustic timber building purpose designed for weddings and events. The Woodhouse, with its vertical timber cladding and sleek design, is a combination of modern and rustic that fits perfectly into the surrounding park and bushland of Redwood Park.

We love the relaxed feel of this venue, and the fact that it’s only 2 hours from Sydney, which means you can have the feel of a destination wedding close to home. There is also an amazing 140 year old barn that has been converted into accommodation for up to 16 people, so you can stay with your whole bridal party before the wedding and make a weekend out of it! If your guests want to stay, there are also glamping options available.
